- Mr. Brooks Beard is our Sales Manager & Senior Mortgage Professional. He resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife and two children. Brooks has been in the Financial Services industry for 17+ years, including over 12 years in Mortgage Origination. Mr. Beard is also a successful Real Estate Investor, Entrepreneur, and a true southern gentleman that we love dearly... and so will you!
- After growing up here and graduating locally from Belmont Abbey College where he was a standout basketball player, Brooks started his career as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley and New England Securities (A MetLife Company). After a couple years, he transitioned to Merrill Edge, the self-directed arm of Merrill Lynch, as an Investment Specialist.
- With vast experience in the Investment industry over a 4-year span, Brooks transitioned to the mortgage side as a Mortgage Loan Officer at Bank of America from 2012 to 2017. Promoted to a Wealth Management Loan Officer from 2017 to 2019, he worked with a team of 60 Financial Advisors in the Southern Gulf States to help clients structure Real Estate Loans for Purchase, Refinance, as well as Home Equity Loans (HELOAN) and Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC).
- After 12+ years in the Institutional Investment and Mortgage Banking world, in 2019, Brooks joined our hybrid Independent Mortgage Banking / Mortgage Brokerage team. He is an invaluable team player with expertise that is crucial to our company's mission.
- Brooks is also passionate about the Music and Entertainment industry. He and a business partner are collectively, King Entertainment Events out of Charlotte, NC. Look them up and join the fun, they host day & night events that are totally awesome!!!
